A new building at Ladies College in Guernsey was designed specifically for “Arts & Drama” and features a stage room, an exhibition room, a junior classroom as well as art and design studios for the students.

Jersey Energy designed all electrical and mechanical layouts as well as acoustic analysis and design. The installation work was managed and overseen by Jersey Energy to ensure the client received the high quality educational facility as ordered.

Natural light is featured throughout the new building, with large areas of glass windows throughout and multiple skylights on the 1st floor, allowing for a decrease in energy consumption and a more natural environment for the artists.

The new air conditioning system utilises Air Source Heat Pumps to control the environmental conditions of the rooms and with a high COP drastically reduces the Carbon footprint of this campus building.
