Profile & Background

Marcan joined Jersey Energy in early 2019 where he began working in a variety of different areas within Building Services, progressing from Trainee to Engineer in 2022. Marcan has gathered experience working on numerous projects in the residential, retail, and commercial sectors in Guernsey and Jersey, including new-build and renovation schemes. He currently specialises in electrical design, lighting design, thermal modelling, and draughting in AutoCAD and Revit.

Born in Jersey, Marcan was educated at Victoria College, where he was awarded an Arkwright scholarship for engineering students, prior to studying at the University of Exeter, completing his course in 2018 with a First Class Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Marcan aspires to join CIBSE and attain chartership in the future.
